Letter Formation & Writing Readiness

 

Children are introduced to correct letter formation through multisensory, hands on activities, helping build correct motor patterns without pressure.

 

Optional:

All resources use QBeginners font, the standard script used in Queensland schools and widely recognised across Australia — supporting a smooth transition into Prep.

Program Structure

 

The Phonics Foundations™ Program is structured into four phases, aligned with the first four phases of phonics development outlined in the Australian Curriculum’s Literacy Hub.

 

Each phase includes:

• Each lesson is approximately 15 minutes

• Simple follow-up activities to reinforce learning
