Teach your child to read with confidence — with clear guidance every step of the way.

The Phonics Foundations™ Parent-Led Program is a self-paced, structured phonics program designed for parents who want to confidently support their child’s early literacy development at home.

No teaching experience is required.

You simply follow the program.

A Structured Program You Can Trust

This program follows a carefully designed sequence of early phonics introduction, ensuring your child is learning through an evidence-based, developmentally appropriate approach — adapted for flexible, parent delivery.

You are guided through each step, so you always know:

  • What to teach

  • How to teach it

  • When to move forward

What Your Child Will Learn

Through short, focused lessons, your child will develop the foundational skills needed for early reading success:

  • Strong letter–sound knowledge

  • The ability to blend sounds to read words

  • Early segmenting skills for spelling

  • Confidence reading simple VC and CVC words

This program focuses on building accuracy, confidence, and understanding — not speed or pressure.

How the Program Works

The program is delivered across four structured phases, each building on the last to create a clear and manageable learning pathway.

Each phase includes:

  • 8 detailed lessons (32 lessons in total)

  • Short, 15-minute sessions designed for real family life

  • A clear progression from learning sounds → blending → reading words

  • A progress checklist to guide readiness before moving on

Lessons are simple to follow, with step-by-step instructions so you can confidently teach your child at home.

Designed for Real Families

Designed for real families, by a highly qualified and experienced Early Years Education Consultant, this program combines professional expertise with practical, real-world application.

It is:

  • Structured, but flexible

  • Guided, but easy to follow

  • Educational, but engaging
